Why it’s better to refurbish and recover beloved furniture rather than buying new.
Five reasons for recycling and restoring beloved furniture rather than buying new. If you have some worn pieces that you’re about to swap out for new, choosing to restore and recover instead offers financial benefits, ecological bonuses and the chance to create a truly individual bespoke piece no-one else will have. From selecting environmental fabrics to choosing classic botanical and floral textiles that reflect your personal style, recycling is a thoughtful, budget‑friendly approach that celebrates character, reduces waste and results in furniture with genuine uniqueness.
