Katy Botanicals
Elegant botanical design for a slower, more beautiful home.
About Katy Botanicals
High quality responsible fabrics for your home
Katy Botanicals is a British homeware brand dedicated to hand-painted floral design, sustainable craftsmanship, and quiet everyday beauty.
Founded by artist Katy McIntyre Brown in 2014, Katy Botanicals is an ethical interiors brand that celebrates natural fabrics. All our products are made in the uk and we offer designs that are painted by professional artist, Katy, in her Hampshire studio in the Test Valley, South West England. The floral homewares collection depicts the natural world in all its beauty and we offer 100% linen tea towels, linen tablecloths, floral wallpapers, and a large range of beautiful botanical fabrics.
Each of Katy’s designs starts life as a painting, painted from life and captures the power of flowers and plants to create joy — not just as decoration, but also capturing the calming effect of the natural world around us. Each of our tablecloths is bespoke and made to order to your choice of length, so we can print extra long tablecloths for you, and all our products are printed and made up by small businesses in Great Britain.
All our pieces are carefully produced using eco-conscious materials:
OEKO-TEX® certified natural linen
FSC-certified wallpaper papers
Small-batch manufacturing to reduce waste
From countryside tables to city interiors, we hope to bring a timeless, painterly beauty to any space. We believe that nature is therapeutic and all our designs are created to bring as sense of calm, opulent beauty and joy to your dining tables and homes.
Sustainability with Style
We work exclusively with small, trusted UK businesses who share our values around sustainability and transparency. That means:
Responsible material sourcing
Ethical printing and sewing processes
Packaging that’s recyclable and plastic-free
Every product is made to last — with nature as its muse, and care in every step.
Ethical Production
We always considers the environmental impact of our materials and the energy used to create our products. We put responsible production at the heart of our business.
Sustainable materials and slow fashion
We don’t print our designs onto manmade fabrics, instead choosing to use natural, organic and responsibly produced textiles. We choose natural fabrics for environmental reasons, and also for their texture, feel and because they’re hardwearing. Their longevity hopefully means you will want them in your home for a long time to come, our designs are created to be classics you continue to love and to last.
Environmental dyes and reusing fabrics
In addition, the print colours we use in the production of our furnishing fabrics are stable and made of natural dyes so they don’t change colour or fade in the sunlight. All our fabrics are printed in England, using organic and sustainable materials to order or in very short runs, to avoid overproduction and reduce our carbon footprint. Any fabrics we have left after production of tablecloths or tea towels are either made into handbags and holdalls or fabrics samples.
Charitable Partnerships
Supporting non-profit organisations
Katy Botanicals is proud to support both Horatio’s Garden and Safe Lives charity with bespoke fabric designs.
Horatio’s Garden nurtures the wellbeing of people after spinal injury in beautiful, vibrant sanctuaries within the heart of NHS spinal injury centres. Leading designers create the accessible gardens where the charity’s team, alongside volunteers and creatives, care for people and plants alike.
Safe Lives
Safe Lives is a charity that works at policy level and throughout communities to end domestic abuse. Safe Lives work with policy makers, government bodies, schools and outreach organisations to help victims become safer sooner.
Moving forward
We are always creating new designs and researching ways to improve our environmental impact and maintain our high standards, from painting through production to postage. We look forward to working with you and hope you love our products as much as we do.
