Painting workshops
Painting workshops provide an opportunity to decompress, take time out, learn or brush up on a skill and to share common interests, all in the comfort of a beautiful and safe space.
Add a home cooked lunch and some laughter into the equation and what could be a better way of spending a free morning.

“A brilliant morning, thank you so much Katy, I really enjoyed myself. A fab group and a delicious lunch xx”
“Peter loves his painting with you so thank you for all your support and giving him the opportunity to do this. He used to paint a lot but rather gave it all up when computers were more absorbing!!”
“Thank you so much for teaching me the pleasures of painting. It has helped me relax and switch off in a difficult situation for me. I hope others follow me and find the pleasure of meeting you and your enthusiastic approach to art.”
“Your course was such fun and l learnt a lot - so much so I bought a watercolour pad yesterday to practice on”
“What a wonderful couple of days we had. We so enjoyed the place, the people and the new challenge. You truly are an inspiration. Thanks to you I am looking at .. flowers and borders in quite a new way, trying to imagine how I’d paint them.”
Christmas botanical painting workshop and lunch
Our last botanical painting workshop was such a blast that I’ve decided to squeeze in one more workshop before Christmas.
I’m offering seven places at a Christmas Card Painting Workshop and lunch on Tuesday, 4th November, 9.45 - 2.00 pm at my house.
We always start with coffee and cake when you arrive (all levels of experience very welcome), then after a couple of warm up sketches, I’ll guide you through designing and creating your own botanical Christmas card.
After a morning’s creating, we’ll all sit down to a relaxed lunch and chat about your paintings.
If you like your work, I can make up your painting into Christmas card orders to send to friends and family. There are only seven spaces available so do book soon if you’d like to come along.
