Which type of fabric to order:
This design is printed on both cotton canvas and a cotton velvet. Velvet is a good fabric for sofas, chairs and cushions as it’s so hardwearing, soft and luxurious. A velvet sofa is a dream to sit in. Most upholstery velvets are made of polyester which is made from petrochemicals which are not biodegradable, but ours is made of cotton, a natural fabric.
This cotton velvet is 140cm wide, the design has a repeat drop of 100cm and the fabric weight is 250 gsm (grams per square metre).
All our designs are hand painted and printed by traditional printers in the UK.
If you’re looking for a piece of fabric for a headboard or large shade, just message us and we can print your order horizontally and so without vertical seams.
