The cotton and cotton velvet is 140cm wide, the design has a repeat drop of 46cm and the fabric weight is 250 gsm (grams per square metre).
Both fabrics are hard wearing and suitable for curtains, general furnishing, blinds and cushions. The velvet and cotton canvas is made from good quality natural cotton and beautiful when used on cushions and lampshades, and upholstery.

Cotton velvet is very hard wearing and will work on sofas and chairs without signs of wear, but should not be washed due to the ‘nap’ that gives it its soft feel. Our cotton and linen fabrics should be washed at no hotter than 30 degrees and as they are natural fabrics, may shrink by 4-5% on the first wash:
Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F. Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%.
