Clematis Cotton Velvet

£110.00

This romantic design showing clouds of Clematis flowers is hand painted and inspired by the Clematis Montana climber that blooms so profusely across the back of our house each spring.

A cotton velvet is 140cm wide, the design has a repeat drop of 100cm and the fabric weight is 250 gsm (grams per square metre).

This design is printed on cotton canvas and a cotton velvet. Velvet is a good fabric for sofas, chairs and cushions as it’s so hardwearing, soft and luxurious. A velvet sofa is a dream to sit in. Most upholstery velvets are made of polyester which is made from petrochemicals which are not biodegradable, but ours is made of cotton, a natural fabric.

All our designs are hand painted and printed by traditional printers in the UK.

If you’re looking for a piece of fabric for a headboard or large shade, just message us and we can print your order horizontally and seamlessly (so there are no vertical seams).

Cotton velvet is very hard wearing and is good for upholstery as it doesn’t show signs of wear, but should not be washed with water due to the ‘nap’ that gives it its soft feel.
