My grandmother’s house in Somerset had a huge Magnolia Grandiflora tree that adorned the frontage. When I was a small child I marvelled at the waxy, plate sized petals and loved the delicate fragrance that settled across the garden. Whenever I come across a Magnolia Grandiflora in flower now my heart leaps and I’m taken straight back to long sunny school holidays in the countryside with my cousins.
The undyed linen is soft and malty in colour and 130cm wide, the design has a repeat drop of 50 cm and the fabric weight is 240 gsm (grams per square metre).
Printed here in the UK, this natural linen would be wonderful for blinds, upholstery, curtain and cushions.
