Ivy on soft undyed linen or velvet
Our ivy design printed onto oyster velvet or undyed linen is a much softer look. The colours merge into each other, giving a heritage feel. This fabric would be perfect for a library, snug or bedroom.
Our linen-cotton mix, a natural fabric, is soft and strong, 130cm wide and a weight of 240 gsm (grams per square metre).
Cotton velvet is very hard wearing and will work on sofas and chairs without signs of wear, but should not be washed due to the ‘nap’ that gives it its soft feel. Our cotton and linen fabrics should be washed at no hotter than 30 degrees and as they are natural fabrics, may shrink by 4-5% on the first wash:
Wash on a delicate machine cycle at 30 °C / 85F. Delicate tumble cycle on a low heat. Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Shrinkage estimated 4-8%.
